Folk Art Museum After Hovhannes Sharambeyan in Dilijan

On the direct initiative of Hovhannes Sharamberyan, the Dilijan branch of the State Museum of Folk Art of Armenia was founded in 1979. It is included in the list of immovable monuments of history and culture of Dilijan.
The exhibition of the museum presents the works of modern Armenian masters and self-taught artists. Many exhibits and household items of ethnographic value can be seen, such as carpets. The museum fund has about 847 exhibition samples.
The museum building is one of the oldest buildings in the city. Many famous guests were hosted in this house: Hovhannes Tumanyan, Yeghishe Charents and other famous people.
The museum organizes exhibitions of folk masters and painters in various genres.
